According to the Northern Echo, Christian Atsu may become a Watford player by the end of this summer transfer window despite links to the Scottish Champions.

Atsu has fallen out of favor with the Newcastle manager Steve Bruce and it was suggested that the player finds another club for regular football.
It is understood that Celtic is interested in the player but it is likely that he will join Championship side Watford by the end of this transfer window. It is believed that Nottingham Forest are interested but Watford have the upper hand.
