Ekuban, who could not make the expected exit in Genoa, regretted that he went to Italy.

Despite the 'stay' insistence of the Claret-Blue club, Caleb Ekuban, who almost fled to Italy, regrets it.

The Ghanaian player could not find what he wanted in the Genoa team he transferred to.

According to the news of Karadeniz Newspaper, Ekuban, who played 5 matches for Genoa, could not produce goals and assists, while the sports media criticised the 27-year-old player for his bad performance.

On 29 August 2018, Ekbuan joined Turkish Super Lig side Trabzonspor on a season long loan. Trabzonspor made the loan deal permanent and signed Caleb Ekuban for three years in 2019.

Caleb Ekuban, who made 103 appearances for Trabzonspor, scored 29 goals and made 18 assists.
