Dortmund Sporting DirectorHans-Joachim Watzke claimed that African Player of the Year Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is similar to Cristiano Ronaldo, not just on the field.

Following the Gabon international'sfour-goal haul against Hamburg,Watzke spoke toGerman newspaperBildabout the striker's reaction to being given a suspension by the German club for reportedly attending a party in Italy without approval.

"He is a player who enjoys being in the spotlight a little," Watzke said.

"There are guys like that - in that area he is like Cristiano Ronaldo and Auba can deal with it very well.Auba's reaction was great. Still, we hope he won't repeat it."

Aubameyang missed Dortmund's midweek 1-0 win over Sporting CP in the Champions League but was back with a bang on Sunday, as Thomas Tuchel's side put Hamburg to the sword in a 5-2 victory at the Signal Iduna Park.

Dortmund currently sit fifth in the Bundesliga table, six points behind leaders Bayern Munich.
