With only four months left on his contract, Black Stars head coach have refused to comment whether he will extend his contract with the Ghana Football Association or not.

The Israeli tactician led Ghana to the final of the 2015 AFCON held at Equatorial Guinea but missed narrowly to Cote d’Ivoire on penalties.

Many sports journalists and the ordinary citizens have called on the FA not to renew his contract because he has failed to honor his promises to the country.

The former Chelsea manager will lead Ghana to the 2017 AFCON at Gabon and will be hoping to clinch the trophy after missing it out on 2015 but Grant insist he is not certain about his future.

Speaking to the media, Grant said, “I want Ghana to qualify for Russia 2018 and I want that to happen but what will happen with me in the future, we need to wait and see.

“My contract is until January and there are a lot of things that makes me happy here in Ghana and I know people are happy with me. We need to do better off the pitch but I am not concern about my contract because it is not important to me.

“There are qualification matches that we need to play and the upcoming AFCON which is very important. I am hoping we win the trophy this time around and if it happens to be penalty shootouts, then we will go all out to do that and that is my target but I will not stay too long.” He added.
