Ghana coach Avram Grant was in Spain this week to see Atletico Madrid midfielder Thomas Partey.
Grant who is expected to announce his squad for the assignment next week Friday watched Partey in their game against Barcelona which ended 1-1.
Partey who came on in the 76th minute was praised by his coach Diego Simeone after the game.
Grant is reported to have also expressed delight at what he saw of the 21-year old in the game and has drafted him as a key member to his squad for the Uganda World Cup qualifier.
According to reports, Avram Grant inquired from Diego Simione plans his technical team has for the Ghanaian since he wasn't getting enough playing time.
