AWCON: Cameroon vs Mali match report; Experience crown Cameroon with bronze to France

The Lioness of Cameroon beats Mali 4-2 to secure a ticket to France 2018 FIFA Women's World Cup at the Cape Coast Sports Stadium with a grand style.

The 11th edition of the Total Africa Women's Cup of Nations had Cameroon and Mali battle for a place to the World Cup.After 90 minutes of soccer fiesta, Cameroon had to strip off Mali the way.

At the Cape Coast Stadium recorded high powered football by both teams. As they controlled the game haven started impressively for the first quarter of the match.

15th minute free kick for Mali on the left wing was connected poorly as it hit the human wall, denying an opener for Mali.

Both sides pressed impressively with passes, making surr the shot stoppers ride on to their duties.

Mali indecisively misused a counter attack ball from their half.Kicked through from the defense line.

Putting Cameroon in a 1-0 lead.The goal really had the Malians slow down a bit upfront as only one shot on goal was recorded before the break.
