Ghana international Baba Idrissu displayed excellent form today to help his RCD Mallorca club to defeat Levante 2-0 in the Spanish La Liga.
Battling relegation and in need of maximum points to enhance their chances of survival, Mallorca welcomed Levante to the Visit Mallorca Estadi this evening in a Matchday 34 fixture.
With the form of Baba Idrissu, he earned a starting role to play in midfielder for his team. Following a very good team performance in the first half, the home team went to the break with a 1 goal lead courtesy a strike from Juan Hernandez.
Despite a good battle from Levante to get back into the game in the second half, they could not find the back of the net.
In the last 10 minutes of the game, RCD Mallorca put the game to bed with teenager Takefusa Kubo registering his name on the scoresheet on the 84th minute.
