The Sampdoria squad were put through their paces on Monday afternoon at the Mugnaini in Bogliasco as preparations for the home fixture with Lazio on Saturday got under way. With seven players still away on international duty, Claudio Ranieri put the remainder of the group through aerobic work, possession and ball-based drills. Jakub Jankto trained with his team-mates as normal. A morning training session is scheduled for Tuesday.
