According to reports in Germany, Jeremie Frimpong's future is one of the main concerns at Bayer Leverkusen right now.

It is understandable why the 22-year-old former Celtic defender has drawn the attention of major teams with his outstanding performances. The Dutch-born Ghanaian has eight goals and nine assists so far this season in all competitions.

Coach Xabi Alonso of Bayer is not worried that Frimpong would be angry as a result of the current speculations.

“Rumors are normal with a special player like Jerry. I talk to him a lot. He is 100 percent focused on our team," said the 41-year-old.

Frimpong has also been linked to Manchester United, Liverpool, and other top sides in Europe. According to Sky, positive talks have already taken place between Manchester United and the right-back's agent.
