Rudi Voller, sporting director of Bayer Leverkusen, has indicated that the club will be willing to listen to offers for Mexican striker Javier Hernandez - but only if teams make exceptionally high bids.

Despite having a good start to life at the Bundesliga club, Chicarito is going through a difficult time with the club and remains without a goal since October 1st having not scoredin the last 1,277 minutes of playing time (17 games).

"Of course, we are a club which at least has to consider crazy offers," Voller said toBildbefore hinting that a fee in the region of25m ought to be 'crazy' enough to convince the Leverkusen club to part ways with the out-of-form striker.

The striker had been linked with a move back to England, this time to the rivals of his former club at Liverpool, before going on this terrible goalless run.

Having fallen out of favour due to his playing style as an out-and-out striker who is more of a poacher than an all-round attacker, Chicarito is most likely off Jurgen Klopp's radar for now.

However, despite indicating a willingness to sell, Voller said:"I believe that he will play a very good Ruckrunde [second half of the German season] for us.We need him to achieve our goals."

Voller then went onto explain that he believes that the club can still get the best out of the forward, who will be able to lead them towards their goal of European qualification if he can find a return to the form that he got off to at the start of his Bayer career.

"It's difficult in the winter to get a reasonable replacement," Voller admitted, hence why the club are only willing to sell the player for an exceptional fee.

Rumours also surround their other attackers at the moment as the club continue to play hardball with Liverpool over the potential sale of Julian Brandt and rubbish reports of a Borussia Dortmund move for Karim Bellerabi.
