Bayern chief speaks out again about Ghanaian youngster Callum Hudson-Odoi

Bayern Munich sporting director Hasan Salihamidzic has spoken out again about his clubs pursuit of Chelsea youngster Callum Hudson-Odoi.

The winger has dominated the headlines for a number of weeks now.

The player broke onto the scene during last season and has shown positive signs in a limited amount of games in the current campaign.

He has impressed so much so that Bayern Munich have made a move for him.

Not only have they made a move for him, they look as though they are willing to commit some serious money towards signing him.

One of the first bids they made was said to be in the region of £20million and was rejected before Bayern raised the bar.

The most recent bid is said to have matched Chelsea’s asking price of £35million.

Though, there has still been no news on whether that has been rejected or not.

There has been news on the player, however, with reports suggesting he has his heart set on a move.

Now, Bayern Munich sporting director Hasan Salihamidzic has been speaking about a move.

“We are in talks with Chelsea”

Salihamidzic has reaffirmed his and the clubs desire to sign the player in this window.

He claimed that the club are still in talks with Chelsea and how convinced he is of the player ability.

“We want to sign the player,” he explained, as quoted by the Daily Mail.

“I am fully convinced of his abilities, we are in talks with Chelsea.

“We have to find a good mix between young talents and experienced leadership players.”
