Interim manager for German Bundesliga side Bayern Munich, Hansi Flick held a one on one training session with defender Jérôme Boateng at the clubs training grounds on Monday, November 18, 2019.

The exercise is part of the manager’s plans to get the player back to top form following his return from an injury he suffered earlier in the season.

Having given the Bayern squad an off day yesterday, the gaffer excluded the German-born Ghanaian international and took him through various drills.

Boateng was taken through drills such as fit and head balls including Coordination exercises - also with resistance rope - as well as dribbling by bars.

Following a one-hour session, the defender was taken through shooting drills as well.

Despite making tremendous progress, the center-back is expected to miss Bayern Munich’s Bundesliga match against Fortuna Dusseldorf.

He is however in contention to feature for the side when they face Red Star Belgrade in the Uefa Champions League on November 26.
