Bayern Munich president Uli Hoeness has confirmed the club have offered Robert Lewandowski a contract extension.
The Poland striker, who has been in blistering form this season with 19 goals from 22 games, is currently contracted to the Bavarian giants until 2019, but the club are keen to tie him down even longer.
"It's just up to him now -- he's got an offer,'' Hoeness told the Bild am Sonntag newspaper.
"And it is not like Bayern don't want to keep him.
"I know some of the figures and certainly if you didn't want [to extend his contract], it would look different to this.''
Lewandowski has exceeded expectations following his controversial move from rivals Borussia Dortmund in 2014, scoring 25 and 42 goals in his first and second seasons respectively, helping Bayern to successive Bundesliga titles during his time at the club, as well as a DFB-Pokal.
Hoeness also said he is sure Arjen Robben will stay at Bayern after revealing the Dutch winger has also been offered a renewal.
"I am pretty sure [Robben] will stay with us," Hoeness said.
Both Lewandowski and Robben were on target for Bayern as they hammered Wolfsburg 5-0 to draw level with surprise pacesetters RB Leipzig, who lost to relegation-threatened Ingolstadt.
Robben has been with Bayern since 2009 and has enjoyed a glorious career in Germany, helping his side to five Bundesliga titles, four DFB-Pokals and a Champions League success in 2013, when his goal was enough to see off Dortmund at Wembley.
