Bayern Munich are looking to reach an agreement with Werder Bremen that will give them first refusal on signing the in-form Serge Gnabry, should the winger become available to buy in the summer.

Reports inGermanysuggest that Bayern are hoping to add the German to their ranks, as they continue their recent trend of signing the Bundesliga's top players.

Carlo Ancelotti's men are keen to push through an agreement before the end of the season, as they fear that a number of other top European clubs will look to sign the former Arsenal man.

Gnabry left the Emirates only last season having failed to break into Arsene Wenger's side over a four-year period. The move back to his home country appears to have paid dividends for the 21-year-old, as he has been a regular feature in the Werder Bremen side, partly due to his impressive form that has seen him score 10 times in 21 Bundesliga appearances.

With his meteoric rise showing few signs of ending, Bremen may look to cash in on Gnabry as number of clubs are said to be keeping a close eye on the forward.

Whilst Bayern would like to see themselves in pole position for his signature, reports in theSpanish pressindicate that Barcelona are also said to be keen and the Catalans could well make an offer for Gnabry at the end of the season, as they look to add some much-needed firepower to their squad that has become over-reliant on the 'MSN' partnership of Lionel Messi, Luis Suarez and Neymar.
