BBC Pundit Gary Lineker Makes Another Outlandish Promise if Leicester City Regain Title

Published on: 06 November 2016

BBC pundit Gary Lineker has promised to present Match of the Day completely naked if Leicester City somehow manage to retain their Premier League title following a slow start.

The Foxes defied all odds last season and won the Premier League title, despite being 5000/1 rank outsiders at the start of the campaign.

If Leicester retain the title I'll do the first MOTD next season naked, standing on my head while Shearer and Wrighty beat me with a stick.

And as a result of the unprecedented title-victory, former England striker and Leicester City fan Gary Lineker was forced to present this season's Match of the Day in his underwear, standing by a promise he made in December 2015.

This year the 55-year-old plans to go one better if his side can do the unthinkable and win back-to-back titles, promising to present next season's first Match of the Day completely naked, standing on his head while Alan Shearer and Ian Wright beat him with a stick.

Claudio Ranieir's side have started the season poorly, picking up just 12 points from their opening 11 games which puts them in 14th.

But they have performed well in the Champions League after winning three times and drawing once to top Group G by three points.

With Lineker's bold promise coming only if Leicester win the domestic title, who knows what kind of bizarre act the ex-Spurs striker will do if the Foxes can go one better and win the Champions League...
