The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Bechem United, Nana Kwasi Darlington has set sights on a top four finish in the 2020/21 Ghana Premier League season.

The 2020/21 football season is expected to kick start from Friday, November 13, 2020 at the various match venues.

Football has been on suspension since March 16, 2020, due to the coronavirus pandemic, leading to the cancellation of the 2019/20 season.

According to the club's CEO, Bechem United will follow up and meet last year’s set targets.

"It has been our target and we are gradually checking our points and whether it is achievable. We will work hard to maintain that standard and also do better," he told Class Sports.

"The league is going to be exciting and competitive both on and off the pitch.

The President of Ghana, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo in his 17th Address to the Nation on the update of the COVID-19 pandemic announced the lift of ban on contact sports, paving the way for the resumption of competitive football activities in Ghana.

"With respect to football, after due consultations with the Ghana Football Association, it has been decided that the Ghana Premier League and the Division One Football League will restart on Friday, 30 October, with a full regime of testing of the players, technical and management staff," he added.

The Hunters have already started training after a successful coronavirus testing where all their players tested negative.
