Public Relations Officer of Bechem United, Kweku Danso has disclosed the club have will get a free jet for their CAF Confederations campaign next season.
The Bechem based club defeated Okwuhu United by 2:1 in the MTN FA Cup finals at the Cape Coast Stadium on Sunday. After a scoreless first half, Yaw Arnol put Bechem up in the 55th minute with shot from the edge of the box.
Okwawu United however equalised in the 63rd minute when Akoto Danso latched on to a Maclin Ampadu low-cross and drove the ball into the net.
Yaw Arnol restored Bechem United's lead towards the end of the game connecting from Abednago Tetteh's kick to seal the win for the Hunters from the Brong Ahafo region.
Okwawu failed to get another goal despite the opportunities that fell their way before the blast of the whistle.
Speaking to Moon Lite FM in an interview, Kweku Danso said, “Bechem United will get free jet to Africa from Don Pee of Eco-Medical center.
“Osagyefo Nana Agyemang Badu is behind our winning of the MTN FA cup and had been around the club recent Success, he has been helping us so much.
Kwaku Danso further confirmed that the club will go to Africa no matter what be the case.
“We are prepared and ready to go. Yes Agama made a promise and he is a man capable and he can pay and pay even more than the 5,000 as you are mentioning so let’s wait till Saturday.” He added.
Bechem United are currently occupying the 8th position with 38 points and will play New Edubiase in the match day 28 fixture of the Ghana Premier League.
