Bechem United FC team manager, Amoako Gyampah Emmanuel has disclosed that his outfit will withdraw from the Special Football Competition if their venue isn't approved by the Normalisation Committee.

The Ghana FA Normalization Committee led by Dr.Kofi Amoah has proposed a Special Football Competition which will replace the truncated 2017/18 GPL season following Anas expose on corruption in Ghana Football. The competition is set to determine a Ghanaian club that will participate in the Africa Inter-club competitions next year.

The competition is scheduled to kick off on February 3 at various venues.

Meanwhile, Amoako Gyampah has threatened to boycott the competition after the Normalization Committee rejected its match venue.

"Bechem United has no venue with the exception of Bechem Fosu Gyearbour park". If the Normalization Committee insist we don't honour our home matches there, it is best for us to boycott the competition," he said.

"Already we are tied with rope on our neck because we are not adequately prepared and some clubs are not as ready to commence the competition". But the Committee has forced the clubs into preseason which at the normal circumstances, preseason takes two to three months but this is not the case".

He added, "We are a few days away from recording a month since we resumed camp".

The Committee during the week inspected various venues in the country, tagging them unqualified for football despite it being a pitch.

The Brekum Golden City and Nana Ameyaw Park are the other centers facing same challenges ahead of the competition.
