Ghanaian youngster Benjamin Tetteh has joined Slovacko FC in Czech football on a one-year loan deal after failing to earn a place in Standard Leige's first team squad.

The former national U-20 star departed for Slovacko on Thursday in the company of his adviser Dimitri Martens to complete the loan.

The player hopes that the Czech league will offer him more playing time as he continues his development.

Tetteh scored on his Standard league debut but since found it difficult to make a meaningful impact without despite making 11 appearances last season.

Slovacko FC finished 8th in the Czech top flight last season and Manager Stanislav Levy is hopeful that the acquisition of the 6 feet four inches’ lethal weapon will further enhances his chances of fighting for the trophy.

Tetteh could make his debut on Friday when Slovacko FC welcome Europa league campaigners Zlin in Week 6 of the Czech League.
