Ghanaian youngster, Benjamin Tetteh has reiterated that he is not worried after being overlooked by Black Stars coach although it remains his dream to play for the national team.
The 21-year-old has been on an impressive form for Sparta Prague this season scoring eight goals in 14 appearances for the Czech Republic club as they battle for the league trophy.
However, the former Ghana U-20 forward says he is not disheartened that he had still not on Coach Kwasi Appiah's radar but would still work hard to catch his eye
"For now, I am happy at my club and not really thinking about the national team but, of course, if a call-up comes, I will humbly grab it because it’s everyone’s pride to play for his national team," Tetteh told Graphic Sports Online
"It’s been a great season for me with eight goals so far; it’s been really incredible. In every game I try as much as possible to be better than the last game and I keep improving.
"I am happy because I focus just on myself and don’t look at what others are doing. I want to be the best, as a striker my duty is to score in every game and I am on course," he added.
The Ghanaian forward joined Sparta Prague in July this year after stints with Belgian side Standard Liege and Bohemians 1905 in the Czech Republic.
The 1.95m striker was part of Ghana's under-20 team, Black Satellites, who reached the second round of the 2015 FIFA World Youth Championship in New Zealand.
