Berekum Chelsea attacker Mezack Afriyie urges calm after defeat to Accra Lions

Berekum Chelsea forward Mezack Afriyie has urged calm as he believes his outfit will bounce back to winning ways in the Ghana Premier League.

Christopher Ennin who had a flying start to the campaign has been poor in their last five games, winning one, drawing one and losing three.

On Monday, Berekum Chelsea suffered a 2-1 defeat to Accra Lions at the Accra Sports Stadium in week 13 fixture.

Afriyie, who scored his sides consolation goal in the clash has called on the fans to be calm as he believes they will bounce back to winning ways.

" It's always worrying to score and they (Opponents) equalize, it's bad we can't win games but we will bounce back "

"I will like to plead with the supporters to stay calm and continue to support the team and we will make them proud" he told Akwaaba FM.

Afriyie fell unconscious in their game against Accra Lions on Monday and had to be rushed to the hospital for treatment.

The forward is currently in a stable condition and has been discharged from the hospital.
