Berekum Chelsea coach Christopher Ennin was disappointed with the display of highly-rated striker Mezack Afriyie in their 2-1 defeat to Asante Kotoko in the Ghana Premier League on Wednesday.

The Blues took the lead through Emmanuel Sarpong in the 27th minute but the Porcupine Warriors equalized on the half time mark courtesy of Eric Zeze's strike.

Back from recess, Steven Mukwala increased the tally for Asante Kotoko in the 65th minute at the Baba Yara stadium.

"For Mezack Afriyie’s performance that is the question that I’m going to ask myself because I don’t know what was going on during his time with the national team."

"He just rejoined us and what I saw is not the Afriyie that I was expecting. So I think maybe he had personal issues but, I’m going to see to it and correct it," coach Ennin told StarTimes during the post-match interview.

Afriyie, who has scored five goals in eight matches for Berekum Chelsea lasted the entire duration of the game.
