Ghana defender Nicholas Opoku has joined Tunisian side Club Africain on a four-year deal.
Opoku who has been impressive for Berekum Chelsea in the Ghana League sealed the deal on Thursday after passing a medical.
He becomes the third Ghanaian to sign for the Tunisian side after Abdul Latif Anabila and Abdul Wahab Hanan.
Club Africain have signed Opoku as a direct replacement for compatriot Lawrence Lartey whose contract was canceled only 20 days into his arrival.
Nicholas Opoku’s decision to travel for the Club Africain deal ruled him out of playing for the Black Stars B’s 2018 CHAN qualifier away to Burkina Faso scheduled for Saturday.
