Veteran midfielder Bernard Dong Bortey says he is not worried with the current position of Hearts of Oak regarding his quest to play for his former team.
There are reports that the attacker who has been training with the Phobians for some time now has been told he will not be offered a contract ahead of the start of the new Ghana Premier League season.
“I am not disappointed, is part of the game, I had a lot to offer the Club, but for now I will try and move somewhere else,” he told Starr FM.
“I will work hard because I know I can still play. Hearts is my former Club and I was ever ready to join and help them, but I’m not disappointed.”
The 33-year-old made an appearance for the team in the GHALCA G6 final match against Aduana Stars at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium.
