Kayserispor has had an official discussion with Besiktas over in form Bernard Mensah although there was no agreement in place between both parties, says club's president Berna Gozbasi.
Mensah 25, has so far been superb in this season's Super Lig campaign for Kayserispor having scored 5 goals and providing 8 assists in his 23 league appearances. He has featured once in the Türkiye Kupasi playing 90 mins.
Besiktas and Galatasaray are the two elite Turkish clubs to be chasing the signature of the former Fetteh Feyenoord player.
However, club president, Berna Gozbasi has confirmed the interest from Besiktas over Mensah following an official negotiation between both clubs.
Speaking to Beyaz TV per Sporx she said:
"I am not talking to anybody until the end of the league. It is true that we only have a meeting with Beşiktaş Officially. I have not made a decision because the league is not over yet,"
The former Atlético Madrid man's contract with Kayserispor ends on 3oth June 2022.
