Bernard Tekpetey aims to have a good game when Fortuna Düsseldorf face Hertha Berlin on Friday

Ghanaian international Bernard Tekpetey has disclosed that he is hoping to have a good day at the office when his Fortuna Düsseldorf side locks horns with Hertha Berlin in the Bundesliga this weekend.

The attacker who is on loan from Schalke O4 has not enjoyed the spell he would have wanted since the start of the season. An injury setback prior to the start of the campaign has contributed to his limited playing time at the club.

So far he has only made two appearances for the side, all of which have come from the substitute bench.

Ahead of this weekend, he has regained full fitness and is set to make his first start in place of the injured Dawid Kownacki when Fortuna Düsseldorf take on Hertha Berlin.

Speaking in a pre-match interview, Bernard Tekpetey shared, “It could well be that the time is right”.

He added, “I am in good shape and I hope to prove myself against Hertha. We're going to Berlin to get points there. If I get the chance to score, I will use them too”.
