Ghana international Bernard Tekpetey scored a sublime hat-trick as SC Paderborn 07 took SV Darmstadt to the sword at the Benteler-Arena, running out 6-2 winners on Sunday.
SC Paderborn 07 recorded their heaviest home victory over SV Darmstadt 98 in the German Bundesliga II.
The home side opened the scoring with a brilliant finish by Tekpetey on the 16th minute before Marvin Mehlem pulled level on the 32nd minute.
Five minutes after the recess, Sven Michel restored the lead for SC Paderborn but Joevin Jones made it 2-2 on the 65th minute.
The 21-year-old grabbed his second goal of the day with another stunner on the 77th minute before completing his hat-trick with an 85th-minute goal.
Other goals were scored by Babacar Gueye and Sven Michel who bagged brace.
The former Schalke o4 forward played the full throttle for the game whiles his compatriot Christopher Antwi-Adjei played 77 minutes.
Tepketey has made 17 appearances and scored seven goals for SC Paderborn 07 so far this term.
