Bernard Tekpetey to miss second leg UCL game against Dynamo Zagreb due to accumulation of cards

Ghanaian international, Bernard Tekpetey will miss the second leg of the third qualifying round of the Champions League.

The talented attacker netted the consolation goal for his Ludogorets side in a Uefa Champions League qualification match against Dynamo Zagreb yesterday, as the team lost 2-1 at the end of 90 minutes.

The 24-year-old will not play due to the accumulation of yellow cards, he was booked yesterday and had other two bookings making three.

Ludogorets will play Dynamo on the 9th of August away hoping to get a win to advance to the next stage of the qualifiers.

Bernard Tekpetey has scored three goals in four games for Ludogorets in the Bulgarian league this season.

After a season-long loan to Ludogorets Razgrad from FC Schalke 04, Tekpetey permanently joined the team on 29 June 2021.
