The 25-year-old made his debut in the senior national team in August 2016 and has scored 1 goal in a total of four appearances.
He has been away from the side in the last few years but has built his reputation in the Turkish Super Lig. He was a key player for Kayserispor since 2018 and attracted the attention of Besiktas who made the move to sign him in the summer of 2020.

He recently scored a goal for his new club from the spot in the league. He will likely be given a run out by CK Akonnor to try and nail a permanent place in the side for November's AFCON qualifiers showdown against Sudan.
