Betway has released a statement to the public and to their players to be very careful and not fall victim to fraud.

“We want to inform our players who receive such messages, or are being contacted by such persons to please ignore these messages, as they do not originate from Betway and are schemes intended to extort players”
“The perpetrators often reach out to individuals offering them a ‘hack’ that allows them to enjoy an unlimited account balance whilst requesting payments for this service. We have alerted the Gaming Commission and Security Agencies of such acts and we will continue to work together to protect the interest of our players"
“Betway continues to reward players through Free Bets, which are system generated, and only inform players of such Free Bets through their inboxes on the betting platform"
