BIG BLOW: Samuel Tetteh suffers season-ending knee injury

Ghana and Red Bull Salzburg youngster Samuel Tetteh has been ruled out for the rest of the season after rupturing his meniscus in Liefering’s 2-0 over FC Wacker Innsbruck.

Tetteh, 20, hurt himself after performing two step-overs and slipping on the pitch.

He underwent surgery immediately and has already started rehabilitation.

Tetteh has been in fine form for Liefering, scoring ten goals since his move to the Austrian side

He was recently promoted to the Red Bull first team after impressive outings with the second team.

It will be recalled that Baba Rahman picked up a similar injury for Ghana during the African Cup of Nations.
