The general captain of Aduana Stars, Emmanuel Akuoko has revealed that black magic really exists in football and it is still practiced today.

He recounted some incidents which involved the dark arts.

”I sometimes laugh over it whenever people downplay the use of juju in football. It is real and exists," he told Opemsuo FM.

“You have the right to say whether it works or not, but to say it doesn’t exist is a fallacy”

“I remember one of our matches against Asante Kotoko in Dormaa during Opoku Nti’s administration, we travelled to a town near Cotè D’Ivoire to fortify ourselves, and we were told we were going to beat Asante Kotoko, and it happened. That Day Bernard Don Bortey scored a brace for Aduana.”

“There was this Romanian coach Aristică Cioabă, before we start the game, he will pull off some of the grass on the pitch to hide it in his shirt. He will only take it off after the match. He was part of every spiritual direction we went through during his time,” he concluded.
