Black Maidens Coach Evans Adotey praises players in emphatic win over Gambia

Head Coach of the female U-17 team, the Black Maidens has praised his players in their emphatic 5-1 win over Gambia in the FIFA U-17 Women's World Cup qualifiers. 

The former Medeama S C coach showered praises on his players who were outstanding and look almost through to the final rounds of the qualifiers.

Ghana Captain Mukarama Abdulai scored a double brace with Nina Norshie grabbing the other as the Black Maidens return to the country with the huge scoreline.

After the game Coach Adotey indicated his players were the reason for the victory and added they will not underestimate their opponents in the return leg in a fortnight time.

"Am proud of my players because we kept our ambition of securing a victory,'' Adotey said in a post-interview.

''It is not all over yet because I play against a good side and I will not underrate them [The Gambia].

"My selection was based on scouting from the leagues and inter-school football competitions.
