Ghana’s ambassador to Egypt H.E Winfred Nii Okai Hammond hosted the Black Meteors team at his residence after Sunday's training session.
Ahead of the Black Meteors tie with Côte D’Ivoire in the semi-finals of the 2019 U-23 African Cup of Nations at the Al Salam Stadium in Cairo on Tuesday 19 November, the visited Ghana's AAmbassadorto Egypt to dine and extend his support to the team.
Ghana will play Côte D’Ivoire in the first semifinal match on Tuesday at 55 pm(33 pm GMT) before tournament hosts Egypt take on South Africa in the second semis match at the Cairo International Stadium.
Winners of the two semi-finals matches will play in the grand finale at the Cairo International Stadium on Friday 22 November after the third place
The winner of the competition and the two runner ups will secure tickets to represent Africa at the 2020 Olympic Games in Tokyo.
