Black Meteors midfielder Michael Agbekornu ready to give off his best against South Africa

Ghana’s Black Meteors midfielder, Michael Agbekornu says his expectations ahead of the team’s third place match in the CAF U-23 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) tournament against South Africa is to step onto the pitch and give off his best.

It will be a battle between the West Africans and the South Africans on Friday afternoon when both sides get another chance to salvage the opportunity of making it to the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games.

With the stakes that high, midfielder Michael Agbekornu says he will play his heart out for Ghana if Coach Ibrahim Tanko names him on his starting eleven for the match.

“My expectations for the South Africa game is to give out my maximum best if I get the chance to play. We are going all out so that we can qualify for the Olympics because this is the only chance for us”, he said in an interview with Ghanacrusader.com.

The crucial match between Ghana and South Africa will be played on Friday, November 22, 2019, at the Cairo International Stadium. Kick-off is at 14:30GMT.
