Ghana's Olympic soccer team, the Black Meteors, yesterday finalised preparations for their match against Togo today at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium, Kumasi.

The team was put through their paces by head coach, Ibrahim Tanko, in their final drill at the Kumasi Stadium. Earlier on, their Togolese counterpart had their mandatory training session at the venue before the Black Meteors team took to the field to fine-tune their preparations.

The Professional Footballers Association of Ghana (PFAG) delegated former Black Meteors Captain, Yusif Alhassan Chibsah to give the team a pep talk as a way of motivating them ahead of today's game.

Chibsah advised the players to remain focused and see their presence in the team as an opportunity to make Ghana proud.

Former Black Stars defender, Frimpong Manso, who accompanied Yisif Chibsah, also pledged an unflinching support to the team and urged them to go for victory.

Black Meteors Captain, Isaac Twum, on behalf of the playing body expressed gratitude to PFAG and assured them they will do their best to secure the three maximum points and make the return encounter a walk in the park.

The Black Meteors will face Togo at 3:30 pm today at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in a preliminary African Olympic qualifier.
