The Black Meteors were in a 1-1 stalemate by Algeria in the first leg at the Accra Sports Stadium on Friday.

The Algerians are in high spirit for the second encounter and are hopeful of qualifying for the tournament which will be hosted by their fellow North African's, Egypt.

However, despite the slim chances of making it through the final leg, the Fortuna Dusseldorf forward is very optimistic of Ghana qualifying with a win in Algiers.

He said, "For me I think we are going to qualify. Because Maybe we are going to get a good pitch there.

“Even Equatorial Guinea had a goal there, if Equatorial Guinea can score a goal there we can also make a different. Because we have quality than them.

“I’m hoping the boys are going to take their concentration very high. And we are going to put much focus on the game.

“We will make ourselves proud, we are making families proud, we are making the nation proud and you are going to make record. Is been like 14 years we have not been there before, I’m hoping and praying we can make it this time”
