Captain for the Black Queens, Priscilla Okyere is fired up with her other teammates ahead of Ghana’s friendly games against Morocco.

The Ghana Senior Women’s national team is billed to face its counterpart from the North African country in a double-header friendly match.

The games are slated for Thursday, November 26, and Monday, November 30, 2020, at the Accra Sports Stadium.

Ahead of the games, Priscilla Okyere has stressed that it will be key to bolster the form of players as they prepare for the qualifiers to the next AWON tournament.

‘’We are grateful to the GFA for organizing these games because it is important to be active.  We have been training individually and also as a group in our clubs but due to the Covid-19 outbreak, everything has been on hold including the AWCON qualifiers,” the Black Queens captain said in an interview with the communications team of the GFA.

According to Priscilla Okyere, the Black Queens are prepared and very ready for the Moroccans.

‘’We actually don’t know when it is bouncing back, so for us as players, this is a fine opportunity to play as a team again. We are prepared even though it’s been few days here, our coaches are doing the most, and looking at our current output, we are ready for the Moroccans,” she added.
