Two of Ghana female internationals Ernestina Abambila and Faustina Ampah saw their Club side FK Minsk eliminated from the Uefa Women’s Champions League after a 4-3 defeat to Slavia Prague.
Faustina Ampah played the entire duration but could not helkp her side avoid defeat.
Meanwhile, Ernestina Abambila, a former Black Princesses player came of the bench to provide an assist for her club’s third goal.
The Belarusians are out of the competition and will now have to focus on domestic competition.
Abambila joined the club in the summer from American College League Soccer and signed a three year deal with the Europeans.
