Since 2007 the senior national women’s team the Black Queens hasn’t been able to qualify for the World Cup.

The Black Queens have also struggled to qualify for Caf competitions prompting football fans and pundits to call for the dismissal of the technical team.

“Every time I think about it I don’t understand and it sometimes amazes me after 2007 we haven’t qualified and I don’t know what is wrong. I don’t know the problems there now. I believe that one day the situation will change. When the right structures are put in place and they get the needed attention,"

"In women’s football, they don’t get the needed attention just look at the Black Stars going to the world cup look at the attention they are giving them. The women will go and payments of their allowances will be a big problem unless they embark on a demonstration and other actions before they get their money,”
