The Black Queens will begin a residential camping from Monday, August 5 at the Ghanaman Soccer Centre of Excellence at Prampram, to prepare ahead of the 2020 Olympics Games qualifiers.
The Queens will face Gabon in a double-header qualifier games with the first encounter scheduled on August 26, while the second leg will be played on September 3.
Coach Mercy Tagoe and her ladies failed to impress at the 2018 AWCON and unable to qualify for the FIFA Women's World Cup, making it to the Tokyo 2020 Olympics will be the ultimate target for the Black Queens who are yet to make an appearance in the multisport competition.
Ghana together with Nigeria, Kenya, Cameroon, South Africa, Zimbabwe and Equatorial Guinea which drew bye in the preliminary round of the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games and are expected to take on their respective opponents in the second round of the qualifiers.
