Ghana U-20 poster boy Percious Boah says the team will put up a good fight in Mauritania next year to ensure they secure qualification for the FIFA U-20 World Cup tournament.
Nicknamed the Black Satellites, the team last Saturday defeated the Burkina Faso U-20 team 2-1 to emerge as Champions of the WAFU U-20 Cup of Nations tournament.
As a result of the success of the team, they are through to the 2021 Africa U-20 Cup of Nations tournament that is scheduled to be played in Mauritania.
If Ghana performs well, the Black Satellites will play at the next FIFA U-20 World Cup tournament as well.
According to Percious Boah who is a member of the Ghana U-20 team, players are keen to ensure they book qualification to the World Cup.
“We will fight hard to go to Mauritania to qualify to the world cup we will not relax for winning WAFU ZONE B U20 trophy we work hard I believe we will do more and work extra hard and I hope that we will do more for the country,” the Black Satellites poster boy told Hot FM in an interview.
