Black Star skipper Andre Ayew vows to help Ghana win AFCON and World Cup

Former Swansea City attacker Andre Ayew who is also the skipper of the Black Stars of Ghana has vowed to do everything in his power to help Ghana win the AFCON and World Cup.

In a post on his official Facebook page Andre Ayew said:

"I promise not to rest until Ghana wins the AFCON & World Cup"

Ghana will start preparing for the 33rd edition of the TotalEnergies Africa Cup of Nations in Cameroon in Doha, Qatar.

The Black Stars of Ghana will open camp in Doha, Qatar on Wednesday, December 22, 2021 ahead of the 33rd edition of the TotalEnergies Africa Cup of Nations in Cameroon.

The team will be in Doha for a period of three weeks to prepare for the Tournament scheduled for Cameroon from January 9 to February 6, 2022.

The Black Stars will play three international friendly matches in Qatar to give Coach Milovan Rajevac the opportunity to assess his squad for the Tournament.

Algeria is one of the countries scheduled to play Ghana in Qatar.

Ghana is in Group C with Morocco, Gabon, and Comoros.
