Black Starlets head coach Paa Kwesi Fabin has opened up on the current situation in camp saying players are tired because coming to Prampram and going back home is not easy.

Ghana U-17 male national team continued their preparations ahead of the GFA/UEFA Assist 4-Nation Tournament and the WAFU Zone B Cup of Nations with a 2-0 win over Division One League side Nania FC in a friendly on Thursday.

After a goalless first-half, Douglas Owusu opened the scoring in the 75th of the game before Charles Dodzie got on the end of a neatly delivered cross to smash home the second goal in the 88th minute.

"Our boys are tired because coming to Prampram and going back is not easy at all," coach Kwesi Fabin said as quoted by africa-foot.com

"The traffic situation, so when we started the boys were a little bit tired but after the pep talk, it gingered them up and then they came up strongly and we got this result.

"But in our previous we played better but I’m sure tiredness has set in so we need to…."

The Starlets are unbeaten in five friendly matches against second tier teams and continue to build momentum ahead of the two International championships. They previously played Tudu Mighty Jets, Accra City Stars, Kwaebibirem FC and Asokwa Deportivo.

The WAFU Zone B U-17 Cup of Nations is scheduled from Saturday, June 11 - Friday, June 24, 2022 at the Cape Coast stadium.
