The national under-17 team, the Black Starlets of Ghana thrashed the United Arab Emirates 4-0 at the Theyab Awana Sports Stadium in Dubai as part of preparations for the FIFA U-17 world Cup in India.
Ghana opened the scoring in the seventh minute through Gideon Mensah in the first half. The result remained the same in the first 45 minutes.
However, a rampant display in the second half saw Aminu Mohammed of West Africa Football Academy grab the second in the 56th minute.
Sadiq Ibrahim made it 3-0 after long spells of dominant display, before Iddris Mohammed nailed the final goal in the United Arab Emirates coffin with a stunning strike.
The Black Starlets were playing their second friendly, after losing to African Champions Mali 2-1 on Wednesday.
Ghana are returning to the world stage after a ten year absence ad have been drawn in group A with host India, Colombia and the United States.
The world cup begins on October 6th and on the 24th of the same month.
