Black Starlets to arrive on Tuesday

The national under-17 team, the Black Starlets of Ghana will arrive in the country on Tuesday after finishing second at the Africa Junior Championship.

 

The team is expected to arrive at the Kotoko International Airport at 12:45 PM.

 

The Black Starlets beat Cameroon and Gabon scoring 9 goals in the process before the draw with Guinea and beat Nigeron penalties.

 

But lost in the finals to Mali who successfully defended the title they won in Niger.

 

Ghana has booked a place alongside Guinea, winners Mali and Niger to the FIFA world cup come October.
