Black Stars 2017 AFCON FIXTURES

Ghana's senior national team, the Black Stars will begin their quest to end a 34-year wait for a trophy with a game against bogey-side Uganda at the Stade de Port Gentil on January 17 four days after the start of the competition in Gabon.

Ghana will be stationed in the port City of Port Gentil along with their Group D opponents Egypt, Uganda and Mali for the competition. The Stars who are currently preparing for the competition in the UAE city of Al Ain will then have to wait four days for their next match when they engage Mali at the same venue and same time at 5.00pm.

Their final game against record African champs Egypt takes place on January 25 at 8.00pm.

Black Stars coach Avram Grant on Wednesday night named his final 23-man for the 2017 AFCON.
