Black Stars 'B' coach Maxwell Konadu omits Hearts trio from squad

Black Stars 'B' head coach Maxwell Konadu has omitted Hearts of Oak trio from the squad ahead of their crucial qualifier against Burkina Faso, Footballghana.com report.

Defender Benjamin Agyare, Benjamin Afutu Kotey and Manaf Umar have been dropped from the team due to unconvincing performances in training sessions.

Despite the trio been dropped, the Phobians still have three players in the squad namely Joseph Esso, Mohammed Alhassan and Fataw Mohammed who are core members of the team as they prepare for their 2020 CHAN qualifier against Burkina Faso.

The team commenced preparations in Kumasi for the all-important qualifier against Burkina Faso last month.

The home-based senior national team of Ghana are scheduled to play Burkina Faso in a doubleheader tie for a place in next year’s CHAN tournament.

The Black Stars 'B' are also expected to represent the country in the upcoming WAFU tournament to be staged in Senegal.
