Black Stars B refuse to train due to unpaid allowances

Black Stars B players refused to train for some few hours on Wednesday before calm was restored due to their unpaid allowances at the just ended WAFU Cup of Nations in Senegal, Footballghana can report.

Ghana failed to retain the title after losing to hosts Senegal in the final on penalty shoot-outs.

According to reports, coach Maxwell Konadu's side didn't not receive any support from the Sports Ministry and the Ghana Football Association (GFA) Normalisation Committee.

The Sports Ministry paid per diems owed to the players prior to the final game against Senegal last Sunday.

According to reports, the players are frustrated over the lack of attention and communication from the Football Association regarding their allowances.

The players are presently in camp preparing for the CHAN qualifier against Burkina Faso on Sunday on October 20 in Ouagadougou.

Ghana lost the Local Stallions in the first leg tie 1-0 in Kumasi at the Baba Yara and will be seeking to revenge that defeat to qualify for the tournament next year.
