Black Stars coach CK Akonnor has thrown a challenge to local based players to improve their consistency so as to earn a place in the senior national team.
The Black Stars were set for a double header with Sudan in late March but that was suspended due to the outbreak of the coronavirus.
In an interview with the Ghana Football Association media team, CK revealed what he wants from the local players to get a place in the team.
“My research tells me in Ghana [that] no player has been able to play three matches on the top [in top form]. Three, four [matches], it is a challenge. They need to be consistent with their performance and they will automatically get in there”.
